In the past, I have transferred my higher rate credit card balance to my lower rate card. I was able to do this with no transfer fees, otherwise I would not have done it.

It’s unbelievable how people don’t know anything about credit. I’ve come across so many people, especially younger ones that do not know that keeping their balance to a minium can make a big difference in their credit score.

Yeah! Credit history might sound so scary seems like it is so complicated. As for me if you have just the initiative then you can do on your own the credit repair stuff without the pressure of hiring a professionals to do it for you.

Yeah you can only have so much open credit before they won’t give you anymore. not fair.

Another tip that is often thrown around is to close credit accounts that have sat unused (zero balance) for a long time. I don’t know how true this one is, but I’ve heard it a lot. The idea is that if you have too many unused credit accounts, then there’s a risk that you’ll suddenly max them all out and not be able to pay them all back.

Thanks for these tips my husband and I need to work on repairing our credit. We have experienced some financial difficulties in the past that have kept us from getting some loans that could have helped us take better control of our finances.
