One Missed Call was kind of eerie

We have a ton of channels already on our television, but we had some extra ones due to the direct tv promotions that were in effect last weekend. My friend Laquisha told me that she got really scared by watching the movie ‘One Missed Call.’ We took her advice, and the movie really was pretty scary. The movie centers around a group of people that are being murdered without any traces of foul play, or evidence. What is happening, apparently, is that there is a series of murders being committed being committed through cell phones. I thought this was pretty eerie, because we all talk on the phone all day. If that were to happen, nobody would ever know who did it. It turns out that there was a ghost from a murderer that was somehow transformed into this monster that could travel through someone’s internet carrier. They would get a call on their cell phones, and then they would answer and die. I thought that this was pretty realistic, because there is electricity going through all of our phones, and they work by way of picking up and transferring radio waves. The movie was based off of the idea that spirits can communicate through electronics like televisions, radios, etc. There are a bunch of shows on television that deal with this subject, but I thought that none of them even come close to matching the level of terror that this movie did. End the end, the ghost comes out and attacks the main character lady. The ending was pretty scary, and I really liked how it ended. I’m loving how Direct tv is giving us extra channels this weekend! I’ll probably subscribe to the one that played this movie. It looks like there’s a bunch more to watch too!

  • I’m a huge fan of scary movies. The closer it is to life, the scarier. I think I have enough paranoia about my cell phone after hearing stories of the battery exploding or possibly cancer. I’m not sure if I want to add paranormal experiences to that list.
