					<description>Nice article and very prudent idea to check comps in today's housing market.  As part of my job, I check comps every day, and you would be surprised at how much or how little homes are valued, depending on the region and market of the home.  Home values are now volatile, both up and down, in the current home market.  Also, a lender will not approve a home loan if the offer is more than the comps suggest for home value.  Always check your comps!
